Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War BETA Accessible In October

Activision and Treyarch have released the dates in which Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War BETA will be accessible to eagerly-awaiting gamers.

The schedule comes after the moderate success of the ALPHA state of the game last weekend, with many gamers raising concerns about the sniper rifle caliber. These were quickly addressed in a tweet by Tony Flame explaining that the sniper rifle performance was enhanced or exaggerated purely for assessment purposes in the Alpha only:

The tweet should have put everyone's mind at ease and really, this is what the multi-state process is about prior to the final product - fine tuning their material to benefit user experience.

Here's the schedule published on the Call of Duty official website:

It's comes as mildly disappointing news to PC dwellers as Playstation sprites get to trial the BETA on Oct 8, a week before tower-lackies (and Xbox users) on Oct 15.

If we are going on the ALPHA test of the game, we can expect more multiplayer trial action in the BETA, including the same game modes or more, but without Activision explicitly stating what will be included, it's as much anyone's guess.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set for release on Nov 13 with preorders available right now on all encompassing platforms. Visit their website for more info.

Troy, out.
